Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using skymeetsblue (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please also review the Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

The Service helps you discover users with similar interests and posting patterns on Bluesky and presents follow candidates.

The Service is not a dating, matchmaking, romance, or sexual matching service, nor anything similar. It does not guarantee compatibility, trustworthiness, safety, lasting relationships, or any reaction after following.

2. Participation & consent

Use of the Service is voluntary. By joining, you consent to your public information on Bluesky being collected, stored, and analyzed to generate, display, and improve candidates.

The information analyzed may include your profile, public posts, publicly available account information, and other information published on Bluesky or AT Protocol (the specific scope is defined in the Privacy Policy).

You can control whether you appear as a candidate to other members via the "discoverable" setting. When disabled, you are, in principle, not shown as a candidate to other members. We may retain certain information as necessary for abuse prevention, system operation, legal compliance, and similar purposes.

3. AI analysis

We may use AI and other automated processing to estimate similarity of interests and posting patterns. AI-generated results are machine-produced and do not accurately evaluate a person's character, beliefs, creditworthiness, abilities, attributes, or relationships with others. You use displayed candidates and analysis at your own discretion and responsibility.

4. OAuth & account actions

The Service obtains account information and performs other actions within the scope you authorize via Bluesky / AT Protocol OAuth.

Any follow or similar action performed on your behalf is based on your explicit action. The Service does not perform unintended automatic follows, posts, or similar actions.

You may revoke the Service's authorization via Bluesky or your PDS settings.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

violate laws or public order and morals;
perform unauthorized access, excessive load, scraping, automation, or other abuse against the Service, servers, APIs, Bluesky, AT Protocol, or third-party systems;
harass, stalk, spam, impersonate, defame, discriminate against, or otherwise infringe the rights or interests of others;
use candidate results to monitor, track, attack, expose, or unfairly classify others;
use the Service for purposes contrary to its intent;
engage in any conduct the operator deems inappropriate.

6. Suspension

If you violate these Terms, or as necessary for operating the Service, the operator may, without prior notice, suspend your use, exclude you from candidate display, delete data, or take other necessary measures.

7. Deletion & withdrawal

You may request withdrawal or deletion of stored data via the Service settings or by contacting the operator. We may retain some information for a limited period as necessary for abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, and system operation.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". The operator does not warrant its availability, continuity, accuracy, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, or the validity of analysis results or candidate displays.

The Service may be changed, interrupted, suspended, or terminated in whole or in part due to changes, failures, restrictions, or termination of Bluesky, AT Protocol, PDS, external APIs, AI services, or other external services.

Except in cases of the operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes, interruption & termination

The operator may change, interrupt, or terminate the Service as needed, and may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect when displayed within the Service, and your continued use thereafter constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute arising between you and the operator regarding the Service.
